 TAKING RING MEASUREMENTS

You can measure your finger using a piece of string and a millimetre ruler or using a ring sizer.

Your ring is supposed to comfortably fit your finger and not be too loose or tight. You should also consider your knuckle size before you measure your finger. If you have large knuckles, you will need the ring to fit over your knuckle, but still stay snug enough on your finger so that it cannot slide off.

Inside circumference measurement in millimetres
Using a pieces or string, wrap it around the base of your finger and tie it, or mark where the string overlaps with a pen. Then, line the string up with a ruler and take down its length in millimetres. Please note that string may stretch, so do not wrap it too taut, or it may measure too large.

Inside diameter measurement in millimetres
If you have a ring that already fits your finger well, you can use a ruler to measure the inside diameter of this ring:

Take your ruler and measure straight across the inside of the ring from edge to edge.
